Beloved husband of Shirley (Kent) Kane;  father of William (Cindy) Jr., Kevin (Sally), Timmy (Tracy) & Rick (Lisa) Kane; Brother of  Daniel (& the late Louise) Kane, Frances (& the late Vincent Profeta), James (Judy), Patrick (Mary Louise), Michael (& the late Barbara), Joseph (Frances) Kane, Patricia (Jan) Double and the late Ruth (& the late Edward ) Simon, Kathy (George) Anderson, Thomas & Terry (Donna) Kane. Grandfather of Ian (Emily), Zack, Samantha, Jessica, Caitlyn (Chuck Turowski), Patrick, Connor, Nick & Meghan Kane, Jordan Zange, Jackie Pletcher Midlam, Kayleigh Kane, Taylor & Jordan Timmons and the late Abigail Kane; gr grandfather of Genevieve & Freya.   Bill served in the US Marine Corps and worked for 45 years as a newspaper pressman with the Sun Telegraph, Pgh Press & Post-Gazette.  For 25 years he was Secretary-Treasurer of Pressman Union Local No. 9.  Friends received at the Bagnato Funeral Home, 50 Jefferson St. Carnegie, Sun 6-8 PM & Mon 2-4 & 6-8 PM.  Funeral mass in Our Lady of Grace Church, Scott Twp., Tuesday 10 AM.
