Robert L. Harshaw

Robert Lee Harshaw, 88, of Carnegie, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 30, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on July 17, 1937, in Millvale, PA.  Cherished son of the late Robert and Grace (Peters) Harshaw.  Bob was a graduate of Millvale High School, went on to serve as a Private in the United States Army and retired from Sears Roebuck and Company. 

Bob enjoyed spending time with his family and enjoyed outdoor activities, such as gardening, always sharing with neighbors and offering his friendly advice.  He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and target practicing.  In his spare time, he liked to tinker in his workshop and garage, working on his cars and his daughters’ cars.  It is well known that he could fix just about anything, with the exception of a slinky.

Bob was a devoted husband to Elizabeth Ann (Wierzbowski) Harshaw, who preceded him in death in 2007.  He is survived by his three daughters, Debra Ann Harshaw (Dave), Donna Lee Harshaw and Kathleen Marie Harshaw Colicchie (Marlin) and his cherished grandchildren, Paige and Brooke Colicchie.  He is also survived by his brother, Jim (Peg) Harshaw, in-laws Anthony Wierzbowski and Kathy Wierzbowski, plus numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Bagnato Funeral Home, 50 Jefferson Street, Carnegie, on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m.  A blessing service will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.  Bob will be buried next to his cherished wife, Betty, at St. John’s Cemetery in Carnegie, with military honors.
