Peacefully passed on Monday, July 12, 2021 surrounded by his loving family of South Fayette. A devoted husband to Jeanine (Funari) Butts of 41 years, Bob lived for his family. He was the ultimate girl-dad to his daughters and sons-in-law, Jenna (JR Cornell), Jocelyn (Brandon Marshall), and Jillian (David Head). A proud and playful Pap to Jett, Lennon, and his doll baby, Lillie. Bob is survived by his brother Tom Wayne (Maureen), sister, Carol (Bill Moore), sister-in-law Karen (Dan Tracy). He was the son of the late Thomas and Dolores Butts. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to nurse Karen Kern and the entire AGH Cancer Institute staff for their compassionate care and love to Bob. Bob’s passion included hunting, fishing, playing the lottery and being everyone’s “handy-man”. Friends received at the Bagnato Funeral Home, Jefferson St., Carnegie. Wed 6-8 and Thursday 2-8 PM. Funeral mass in St Barbara Church of Corpus Christi parish Friday 10 AM. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.Donations suggested to St Jude Children’s Hospital or buy a scratch off lottery ticket in Bob’s honor.
