Richard P Lornier, peacefully passed into the eternal embrace of God on October 5, 2021, at the age of 95. He was the son of the late Patrick & Margaret Lornier; beloved husband of late Charlene (McNeilly) Lornier, brother of late Margie Hoyson/Swentosky and her daughter, Debbie & Gordon Griffin and their family and brother of Betty & late Alvin Stolburg and her son, Glen and his family and her late daughter Karen, survived by his amazing family, Cheryl & James “Chris” Noschese of Forest Hills, Donn & Marcene Lornier of El Dorado Hills, California, James “Aaron” & Mary (Connelly) Noschese of Braddock Hills and great granddaughter, Lucy Jo and Matthew & Kristy Crossan of Hoboken NJ. and dear friend Irene Sekelik. He graduated Scott Township High School in 1944. And enlisted to join Army. He was World War II veteran under General Eisenhower, worked as International Association of Machinists and AeroSpace Workers for 35 years. Richard held a deep passion for keeping up with the all Pittsburgh and national sports and was a fervent Steelers fan as well as a passionate golfer, bowling player, dart player and poker player. He loved to go casino. He will be greatly missed by his Cloverleaf community. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, October 13, 2-4 and 6-8 PM and Thursday, Oct 14 at 10 AM Service at 11 AM at the Bagnato Funeral Home, 50 Jefferson St, Carnegie, PA 15106.
