On Sunday March 28, 2021; age 95, of Oakdale passed with her loving family by her side after a long illness. Palmira was born Palm Sunday, March 28, 1926 in East Carnegie, PA; daughter of the late Catherine and Emil Mauti. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Victor  Mauti (late Dorothy) and her daughter Arlene Greer. Palmira is survived by her beloved husband of almost 72 years, Joseph, sons Lawrence (Maryann), and James (Karen) and daughters Karen Duffy (Mark) and Joyce Lupia (Chris) in addition to grandchildren Dennis Ovesney (Tina), Gina Ovesney, Brianne Raccor (Matthew), Lauren Seeger (Mike), Bryan Duffy, Sarah Nelmes (Andrew), Brenden Duffy (Lexi), James Lupia (Sarah), Daniel Lupia, Marie Lupia, Joseph Miorelli and Michael Miorelli. Also survived by sisters Helen Bongiorni (late Frank), Edith Miorelli (late Arthur), Clara Calabrese (late Louis) and Delores Briccio (Raymond) and several great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. Palmira was devoted wife and mother, an active member for many years of the Christian Mothers at St Barbara’s in Bridgeville, worked at The Guild for the Blind, volunteered at Meals on Wheels, and helped support her children as they went through college. Friends received at the Bagnato Funeral Home, Jefferson St., Carnegie Tuesday 2-4 6-8 PM. Funeral mass in St Barbara Church, Bridgeville Wednesday 10 AM
