Mildred C. (Parkinson)

Age 95, On Thursday, July 7, 2016 of Scott Twp.  Beloved wife of the late Andrew Sirko. Loving mother of Andrew M. “Butch” (Diana) Sirko and Mary Ann (J. Lawson) Johnston; sister of Alberta Hasley; grandmother of Andrea (Jason) DeLancey, Donald A. (Kathy) Fiorilli, III, Mark A. Fiorilli and Andrew J. Fiorilli, Craig Johnston and Douglas (Holly) Johnston; great grandmother of Betty and Isla Johnston. Mildred’s choice in life was to be happy and she was devoted to her family and Catholic faith. She believed in being open minded and accepting of all others. She was the manager and primary caregiver at St. Joseph’s Home for abused children for the Diocese of Pgh in the 1950’s.  Mildred spent her life selflessly caring and advocating for her family, friends and others and baked the best apple pie ever!  Friends will be received at Bagnato Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Jefferson St. Carnegie SUNDAY 2-4 & 6-8 pm.  Funeral mass in St. Louise DeMarillac, Monday 10:30 am.
