Michael A. Sr.

Peacefully passed away on August 27, 2022 surrounded by his family; of Carnegie; age 94; preceded in death by his wife Ida Gangone DeMartino; survived by his children Michael DeMartino Jr., Rene Moore, Adrienne Ferris; also survived by 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; brother of Adeline Evans, Shirley Stamp and the Samuel DeMartino and Mary Nerone. Michael served his country in the US Navy and later in life the US Government. He received an award from the State Department for setting up a computer for Vietnamese refugees. Michael was also known in the community for his ownership in the Main Hotel and DeMartino’s Restaurant. Friends received at the Bagnato Funeral Home, Jefferson St., Carnegie Wed 3 PM until the blessing service at 7 PM.
