Marianne Zehnacker
Marianne R. Zehnacker (Minky), 75, originally of Mckees Rocks PA, peacefully passed away Wednesday March 5th, 2025. Devoted Wife of 54 years, Mother, Mother-In-Law, Sister, and Aunt. Born January 31st,1950, to the late Harold and Angeline Mersing. Preceded in Death by Husband James(Jim) Zehnacker, Sister Barbara Brown, and Brothers Harold(Sonny) and Donald Mersing. Survived by Sons Rick (Tina) Zehnacker, Mark (Lisa Zynosky), Grandchildren Richard Zehnacker, Marine Lance Corporal Noah Zynosky-Zehnacker (Sage), Nick Daley, Megahn Howard (Brandon) and the late Nathanial Zynosky-Zehnacker. Great-grandson Leland Howard, Sister-In-Law Barbara Crawford (John (Jay)). Aunt to Robert, Michael, Christopher, and Timothy Sparbanie, David and Kristen Mersing, Brian Mersing, and the late Donald and Shawn Mersing.
Minky retired from PNC bank. She stayed active in her accounting activities as the Treasurer for various recreation parks and community organizations. Minky and her late husband Jim spent their winters at their Florida residence and summers at their camp in Plantation Park, Mercer County, PA.
Minky loved spending summers at camp and was always out and about on her golf cart visiting friends and family. She liked to spend her time reading, sewing, or cooking some of her family’s recipes including the famous chicken cacciatore dish, fan favorite of grandkids Richard and Nick.
Minky was one of a kind, a loving mother, grandmother, mother-in-law and most importantly a devoted wife to her husband Jim. She treated everyone she knew like family and will be greatly missed by all.
