Marcel Paul “Boomer”
 

A devoted family man, passed away peacefully after a brief battle with cancer. On July 7, 2013;  By trade, he was a well-known mechanic and auto body specialist who loved renovating antique cars and was an avid member of the “Cruzin Classics” car club.   Marcel was generous with his time and was always willing to lend a hand to assist others in need, especially with mechanical repairs.  He had a “sweet tooth” and a nightly tradition of eating cookies, pies, desserts and cakes (along with coffee) prior to going to sleep. Marcel was preceded in death by his loving wife Catherine Laverne Rouviere. He is survived by his children Sons Jack and his wife Diana of Charlotte, NC and Jim and his wife Michelle of Atlanta, GA, daughter Kathleen Mueller who was adopted into the family and is gratefully recognized for her unselfish and loving care for Marcel during his illness, Grandchildren Owen and Hanna Rouviere. Friends received at the Bagnato Funeral Home, Jefferson St. Carnegie, Tues 2-4 and 6 until the service at 8 PM
