Kenneth G Chase Sr

In the early morning hours of June 15, 2020 Heaven opened it’s gates with a peaceful transition for our loved one. 

Born in Pittsburgh PA on July 15th 1935 to Albert and Dolores Chase, Kenneth “Ken” G Chase Sr began his walk through life.  At the young age of 15 he started what would become a long career in the Plumbing business that would span 7 decades.  He was an avid lover of the outdoors.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing or just his long 2 mile walks that he would take each day.

Ken loved to take pictures and home movies.  He always wanted to get the best shot he could which only meant that the rest of us had to hold that smile for what seemed to be an eternity. 

His favorite pastime was to watch and play sports.  He loved the Pittsburgh sports Teams but the Pirates were his favorite.  He loved sports so much that he was active on the Senior Men’s softball Team, he played Volleyball, he golfed and let’s not forget about his bowling.  Though he had many sports interests, his love of having a good meal was always on top. 

Ken was a very strong man not only in his work and sports life but in his will to overcome any medical issue he endured.

Ken is preceded in death by his Parents, Grandparents, Brother Albert, Son Lenny Joe, Daughter Dorothy “Sissy” Iorio, Son Kenny Jr and Grandson Jeffery Iorio.

He leaves behind his wife of 46 years, Sandra Chase, his sons and daughters Lisa, Eric “Tiny”, Patrick “Bucky”, Michael, Vicki (Tom), Pam (John) and Missy (Kevin) his grandchildren and great grandchildren Kevin, Danny, Adam, Samantha, George, Mary, Marilyn,  Amanda, Matthew, Caroline, Ashley, Brittany, Alexis, Taylor, Aden, Gabriella, Alayna, Luca, Blake, Noah, Madison and Carter.

To our Husband, Dad and Pappy we wish you peace and comfort as you are welcomed by your loved ones.  We know card games and sports along with some great conversation are awaiting you.  Until we meet again…
