Katherine Marie (Spano) “Kay”

On Monday October 28, 2013; longtime local business woman, succumbs to a brief illness; daughter of the late Nick & Rose Spano; wife of the late Domenick Romano; survived by her son Nick & his wife Sabrina, step granddaughter Crystal Baker Keenan & family; dearest sister Theresa Bagnato & her husband Joseph Bagnato, loving nephew Joseph Bagnato and the best niece anyone could ever have, Janet Farkas and her husband Joseph & family. Kay was the matriarch of Ciao’s restaurant in Carnegie & the inspiration for Ciao2 at Settlers Ridge in Robinson has given up the good fight. From office manager of her husband’s CPA, Real Estate and Insurance business to transitioning and helping her son establish an international travel firm. Kay served the local & national community with her work ethic, knowledge & desire to succeed. A truly liberated woman who still gave her time to her extended family & church. Friends received at the Bagnato Funeral Home, Jefferson St., Carnegie Wednesday from 8:30 until 9:30 AM with a funeral mass in St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church at 10 AM
