Judith E. (Slattery) Grega

Judith E. (Slattery) Grega, 65 years young of Carnegie, PA peacefully passed on May 21, surrounded by her loving and devoted family.   Loving wife of 42 years to James L. Amazing mother to Sadie Lynn (James) Kanownik, Grayham Matthew (Lindsie), and Sara Kate (James) Palmer.  

Best known as Juju to her eight precious grandchildren: Sophie and Noah Kanownik; Tayler, Daphne, Karlie, and Dylan Grega; Harper and Caiden Palmer. Sister of William D. Slattery. Preceded in death by her parents James J. and Vivian E. Slattery of Crafton.  She dedicated her life, not only to her children, but hundreds of others in the community through her music, storytime, and nursery rhyme programs at local daycares and libraries throughout her life. 

Her creativity was endless and shined through in her singing, songwriting, art, and crafts.  She sang in the Carnegie United Methodist Church choir, loved country music, reading, gardening, family vacations, and taking Sunday motorcycle rides with her husband.  Her unique spirit, want for nothing attitude, and love of life were contagious and always welcomed by anyone she came to know. Friends received at the Bagnato Funeral Home, Jefferson St., Carnegie Tues 2-4 6-8 PM Wed 11 AM until the funeral service at 3 PM.
