Peacefully On September 7, 2023; age 83. Born and raised in Butler, PA, after graduating from Butler High School, Joe joined the US Navy. After serving 4 years in the US Navy, Joe returned to Butler, PA and started a 60+ year career as a bar and restaurant owner in the Butler area. He is survived by his son Anthony, grandsons Joseph (Jess), Dominic and Anthony Serventi and sister Marianne Atkinson (nee Serventi), preceeded in death by son Joseph M Serventi Jr. A funeral mass will be held in St Paul’s Church Butler Friday at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations to the Wounded Warriors Project www.support.woundedwarriorproject.org or to your favorite charity.
