Sadly, on September 26, 2022, John ("Flash") Timbario, lost his long and valiant battle with Parkinson's disease. He died peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. John is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Phyllis Dato Timbario, his children, Nathan Timbario, Laura Quering (Daniel), and Trevor Timbario; grandchildren, Wyatt and Adelina Quering, who loved him dearly. Also he is survived by his brother, Thomas Timbario (Garnet), and sister, Maria Kubica (Thomas). He was preceded in death by his parents, John S. and Lucy Timbario, and his sister, Sarah Ann Irwin. John is also survived by his sister-in-law, JoAnne Dato (Charles, deceased), brother-in-law, Joseph Dato, and sisters-in-law, Patricia Dato Thewes and Marian Dato Zombek. He also had many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins, whom he loved.
John was born on on June 18, 1951, in Norristown, PA. He attended Norristown High School and was a 1973 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where he received degrees in both Chemistry and Biology. He worked for PPG Industries until his retirement in 2008. He was also active in the SACP and a past member of PITTCON. In addition, he was an active member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society until his health declined. John was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity and stayed in contact with his brothers throughout his life.
John's interests included Doo-Wop music, Pitt sports, Eagles football and dancing with his wife. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He will be missed by all.

Arrangements are being handled by Bagnato Funeral Home, 50 Jefferson St., Carnegie, Pa 15106. Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 29, and on Friday, September 30, from 2-4, and 6-8 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 1, at St. Raphael the Archangel Parish, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 330 Third Ave., Carnegie, PA 15106.
