Peacefully in his sleep at the Devonshire of Mt Lebanon on Saturday July 12, 2014; age 98; beloved husband of the late Anne Thomas; survived by his son John J Thomas and his wife Sandra their children Aileen and Adrian Thomas. John was retired from 40 years of service for the P&WV, then NS & NW Railroads. He was an avid and respected golfer through his 80s, he and many other fine local amateurs played regularly at the many courses in the South Hills. Service private.
