On Saturday March 26, 2016; of Brookline; beloved husband of Suzanne (Myers) Owens; father of Ross Ferguson (Antonette), James and Steve Owens, Ann Marze (Vince), Jeannie Gabbay (Morris), Patricia Esposito (Rocky), Kristina Shane (Art), Amy Owens Koysh (Scott) and the late Theresa Owens; 22 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; son of the late George & Agnes (Orhman) Owens; brother of George (Gemma), Paul (Joan), Abe (late Shirley), Sam (Mario Schwartz), & Anthony (Marie) Owens. James was very passionate in his faith of Jesus Christ with daily readings of the bible. He loved to ride motorcycles and fix cars. He was a jack of all trades. James was a barber for forty years. Friends received at the Bagnato Funeral Home, Jefferson St. Carnegie Tuesday 2 PM until the funeral service at 7PM. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to The Alzheimer’s Association or to the American Diabetes Association
