Our father was a tireless worker, working two jobs most of his life while rarely missing one of our sporting eventsHe was a fearlessPittsburgh firefighter and rose to the rank of Captain in a job he loved. He was an inspiring Carrick Little League coach and mentor to many. He prized honesty and lively political debate. He loved America. He bravely served in the Korean War earning a bronze star and rank of Sergeant.
He was a devoted father who taught us how to love and aspire to be good citizens by giving back to our communities. We will miss him but never forget him.
