Born January 1, 1932 in Carnegie, PA, of Kenmore, NY, entered into rest August 21, 2022. Beloved father of Ann (Harlan Locking) Oliver, Michael (Debby) Oliver, Matthew Oliver and Jane (Dean) Frangos; devoted Pop Pop of Michael (Brittany) Oliver, Laura (Joseph) Kelley, Marilyn, Matthew and Joseph Oliver, George Hill, Kevin Oliver and Dean Frangos Jr.; cherished great-Pop Pop of Emily and Claire Oliver and Aurora Kelley; adored son of the late Michael and Jennie (nee DeFonso) Oliver; loving brother of the late Matthew (late Marie) Oliver, late Rosella (late James) McGrady, late Dorothy (late Chester) Gedrock, late Mary Lou (late August) Fontanesi, late John (late Sarah) Oliver and late Irene (late Lawrence) Speer. George was a Sergeant First Class in the Korean War and a lifelong member of the VFW Post #2472 and the American Legion. Friends received at the Bagnato Funeral Home, Jefferson St., Carnegie Saturday from 10 am until the blessing at Noon. Interment Holy Souls Cemetery, Pittsburgh, PA.
