Flora Schueler

October 17, 1928 to January 27, 2021 She was preceded in death by her husband the late Ken Schueler, son the late Wayne “Sammy” Mehera, and great grandson Dustin Mehera.   She is survived by loving son David (Jackie) Mehera.  She was a devoted Grandma to Denise (Dennis) Flood, Darin Mehera, Jacob Mehera, Christy Mehera, and Bill Tine.  Amazing Great Grandmother to, Marissa, Mackenzie, Adain and Ayla.  She was also preceded in death by 4 siblings whom she loved dearly - Anthony, Yolanda, Joseph and Virginia. Flora was a strong, determined and fiercely independent woman who learned the value of hard work. We will miss her guidance every day. In her retirement, she was active with traveling, visiting with family and friends, cooking her amazing recipes, cheering on her favorite Pittsburgh sport teams, charity events and the occasional slot machine fun.

The family expresses gratitude and appreciation to all of the doctors, nurses and hospice staff, who participated in her care. Instead of flowers, Flora would hope that you will do an unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness for someone in her name. Per Flora’s request a private graveside service for immediate family was held Friday January 29, 2021.  Arrangements were entrusted to Bagnato Funeral Home by Flora herself.
