Our Dear Mother and everyone’s friend sadly passed away on December 29, 2022 at the age of 87. Anna Marie Vogel widow of the late Joseph George Vogel Sgt Marine. Mother of the late Mathew and James Vogel. Survived by sons Joseph, Michael and John Vogel; grandchildren Nichole, Sadie, Grechin and Illya.
Born and raised in the Southside of Pittsburgh, Married and moved to Carnegie, where she and her husband raised their family and started a business in 1956, Carnegie Exterminators and where they would stay their entire lives. She was truly the backbone of the family and business. As a young family she would walk her children to school and church and during her days she would answer calls and take care of the paperwork for the business from 1956 to 2022. She loved to take care of her family. She lived to serve the community. She loved country music and loved to sing. One of her favorite songs was by Johnny Cash I’m Going to Jackson; Jackson must be in Heaven she has finally arrived.
