Adeline (Balestra)
On May 24, 2020; Adeline Makar passed away peacefully. Loving daughter of the late Antonio and Pasqualina Balestra. Beloved wife of the late Michael Makar. Loving sister of Julie (late John) Paci, late Oliver “Lee” and Patricia Balestra, late Alfred “Fred” (Rose) Balestra, Wayne (Theresa) Balestra and Raymond (Sharon) Balestra. Loving aunt of John Paci, Patty Rademan, Anthony Balestra, Shari Dissen, Cliff Balestra, Allison Balestra and the late Kara Balestra.
Adeline was an independent woman and a devout Catholic. She loved her family and friends and was very active in her community. She was an active member of the following groups: Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, Christian Mothers Guild, Italian Sons and Daughters, I Campagnioli (Italian Dance Group for 45 years), Secretary and President of Maria Mission Circle for 40 years, numerous prayer groups and missions, and Girls night out (Group from Dravo).
The family would also like to recognize and thank all of her friends for their support, prayers and inspiration throughout her lingering illness.
Friends received at the Bagnato Funeral Home Jefferson St., Carnegie Thursday 2-6 PM (Social Distancing enforced and Masks will be required). A private funeral mass will be held in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
