Story
LaRue B. (Sentner)
94 years young, of Green Tree, LaRue was called to the Lord on March 20th, in Estero, Florida at her son, Don’s home. She peacefully passed with her hands in prayer, in her recliner, her favorite place to read. She was seen trolling the neighborhood, just the day before, on her Red Harley chopper-type Tricycle. LaRue was born in Pittsburgh, PA. on September 25,1923, daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Taucher) Sentner. She grew up in Carnegie, PA. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Don P. Story Jr, 25 years ago. LaRue will be greatly missed by her 8 loving children, James (and the late Lynn), Michele Story Moehring, Don P., lll, (Jackie), Suzanne Yount (and the late David A.), Renée Schumacher (Jeffrey), Yolande Gensler (Ray, III), Charles (Lisa), and Mignonne Couturier (Joe). LaRue touched the lives of so many, and always loved giving and getting eskimo kisses, especially from her 16 grandchildren and 37 great-grand children and Mammie knew 2 more were on the way! La Rue was the eldest of eight siblings and was greeted in heaven by her brothers; the late Ted Sentner, the late Richard Sentner, and the late Robert Sentner (Peggy), she is survived by Vince Sentner (Betty), Dolores Green (the late Harold), Paul Sentner (Tanya), and Fred Sentner (Mary Jo), cousins, and many, many nieces and nephews, and close friends. LaRue enjoyed her winters in Estero, Florida, with the highlight of the week her trip to Hurricanes to have dinner with her Florida family. She spent her time reading, praying, riding her tricycle, enjoying watching her family grow, and being challenged by the technology of her iPhone. She has always thanked God for blessing her with such a beautiful and loving family.
