David R.

  of Whitehall passed peacefully into the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Sunday, January 8, 2017.  Born Aug. 25, 1931 and was a carpenter of over 50 years, local 211.  He was a member of Browns Hill Bible Chapel in Greenfield serving as an elder for many years.

He proudly served his country during the Korean War earning a campaign star for Korean Service, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Medal and the Army Good Conduct Medal as part of the Second Army Engineers.

Survived by loving wife Barbara, sons, David (Deborah), and Brian (Suzanne), daughters Elizabeth (Jeffrey) Murray, and ,Kathleen (Jonathan)Tietz, grandchildren Kristen(Brendan) McMonagle, Jonathan, Andrew (Carmen), Rachel, Zachary, Alexander, Allison, Julia, Jadon, Nathan, Kaylee, great grandchildren Tierra, Giovanna, and Angelina. Proceeded in death by brothers Paul (Dorothy) and John (Eve), sister Bette (Robert) Fox V. Friends received at the Bagnato funeral home, 50 Jefferson St. Carnegie, Thursday 2-4 6-8 PM. Funeral service Friday at 11:30 AM. Interment in The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with full Military Honors
