Peacefully on Sunday October 1, 2017; beloved husband of Theresa (Gerrero) Tapper; son of the late Walter P. & Lucinda E. Tapper; brother of John and the late Walter and Kenneth Tapper and Ann Cox; also survived by nieces and nephews. Robert was a WWII veteran serving in the 99th Infantry and was in the active reserves for over 35 years. Friends received at the Bagnato Funeral Home, Jefferson St. Carnegie Tues 2-4 6-8 PM with a service Wed 9:30 AM Interment in The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
